Rock Monkeys

Let’s face it, kids love to climb! Our Rock Monkey kids climbing clubs are a fun way for our young climbers to learn and improve on their rock climbing skills!

WHAT DOES THE SESSION INVOLVE?

These sessions allow our Redpoint Instructors to guide and develop young people through their climbing journeys. Some kids come just for the fun element, allowing them to create and develop new friendships, whereas others are here to progress their personal skills, in a safe, controlled and fun environment.

Our Rock Monkey journeys begin from the age of 7, allowing each individual the opportunity to grow their skills in our centre, being guided by experienced, qualified, Redpoint Staff. Our low group ratios, of 4 children to 1 instructor, allows us to really focus on their development, giving each child the opportunities they require to progress their personal skills.

Indoor climbing has been proven to not only work on the obvious physical benefits that sports present, but to let us delve into the mental and social skills that these activities bring. Each session presents unique opportunities, that each child must face either alone or with their peers, be it a problem solving task on the wall, or the understanding of the processes involved in the complex technical aspects presented on the ground.

Redpoint Worcester is a NICAS accredited centre, allowing us, and your child, easy access to invaluable information to help guide and record their individual journey. From the age of 7, your child can begin to explore these schemes. Each level houses a number of tasks that must be completed, becoming progressively challenging as they advance. Each level also presents certificates and badges that can be obtained through any accredited centre in the UK.
